NOVA INS EAD has merged with BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AD
Dear customers,
VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AG has carried out restructuring of its insurance activity in the Republic of Bulgaria, which has resulted in the completion of the proceedings for transformation by merger of Insurance Company NOVA INS EAD (the transformed company) in the sole owner of its capital – BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AD (the absorbing company). The procedure has been conducted in accordance with the Commercial Law and the Insurance Code, and all necessary legal and factual actions have been carried out in the order required by the law and with respect to the competent authorities, which have provided the required permissions and approvals. With the completion of the referred proceedings, Insurance Company NOVA INS EAD has been deleted as a legal entity and all rights and obligations of Insurance Company NOVA INS EAD related to insurance legal relations are transferred to BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AD.
We are happy to inform you that as of 4 October 2021, in accordance with the applicable law, all insurance contracts concluded with Insurance Company NOVA INS EAD are transferred to BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AD, as a result of the transformation by merger between the two companies (the merger). BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AD becomes the universal legal successor of Insurance Company NOVA INS EAD, and all assets and liabilities, rights and obligations of Insurance Company NOVA INS EAD are passed on to BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AD, including the rights and obligations under the current insurance contracts.
All concluded insurance contracts retain their force in accordance with the same terms and conditions, and BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AD will continue to fulfill its obligations as the insurer for your insurance, in accordance with the conditions of the contract.
The transfer of insurance does not affect the insurance coverage or the possibility to make insurance claims.
What does that mean?
- Your insurance cover is now provided by BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP AD;
- It is not necessary undertake any action in response to this notification – the change of insurer affects in no way the conditions of your insurance and the same team of persons will continue to provide expert services for your insurance.
