Nedyalko Chandarov presented with the overall contribution award of Prof. Dr. Gavriyski Foundation

Nedyalko Chandarov, CEO of BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP, has been distinguished for his overall contribution to the development of insurance in Bulgaria with the prestigious award of Prof. Dr. Veleslav Gavriyski Foundation.

The award, a statuette of the goddess of victory Nike, was handed over by Mr. Boyko Atanasov, Chair of the Financial Supervision Commission, who presented Mr. Chandarov as an outstanding example and paragon of professional achievements in both the public and private sectors, referring to the professional biography of Mr. Chandarov.

“I would like to thank everyone who nominated me, as this award means not only a great honor, but also responsibility. I have always believed that people constitute the main capital of a company and that we need to act responsibly towards the clients, partners and employees – I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to all of them. As you know, this year Bulstrad celebrates its 60^th anniversary, and I would like to congratulate all my colleagues who have been part of Bulstrad and who are part of this team today and wish them good health and luck. Congratulations to all the winners,” Mr. Chandarov stated during the ceremony.

Due to epidemic situation, the ceremony was held on 27 May 2021 with a limited number of special guests in the Ceremonial Hall at the VUZF Higher School of Insurance and Finance and was broadcast live on VUZF‘s official page on Facebook.

The important distinctions in insurance given to established professionals and managers for overall individual contribution to the sector are conferred by the VUZF Higher School of Insurance and Finance, the Association of Bulgarian Insurers, the Bulgarian Association of Supplementary Pension Security Companies, Prof. Dr. Veleslav Gavriyski Foundation, and the Bulgarian Association of Insurance Brokers.
