Little Giants initiative receives an award in the “Insurers for Society 2019” competition

The Little Giants national mini-volleyball rounds tournament received a recognition in the “Insurers for Society 2019” annual competition, organized for the fifth consecutive year by the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABI) and the Bulgarian Association of Insurance Brokers (BAIB) to mark the celebration of the National Insurance Day on 1 October.

Little Giants was among the initiatives distinguished in the “Insurers for Society 2019” competition and was awarded the second place for a project with a corporate social responsibility (CSR) focus.

Mr. Ivo Gruev, Executive Director of the company, accepted the prestigious award on behalf of ZAD BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP during a special ceremony held on the eve of the Insurance Day.

The fifth edition of the event organized by BAIB and ABI featured seventeen CSR projects implemented during 2018 by insurance companies and brokers and designed to make a contribution to society and important social causes.

The Little Giants mini volleyball rounds tournament for the Cup of Bulstrad is an annual initiative of ZAD BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP, launched in 2018 for young volleyball enthusiast across the country with the purpose is to promote healthy and active lifestyle among pre-teens and support the development of the volleyball sport in Bulgaria.

In 2019, the Little Giants national rounds tournament will take place in 8 areas around Bulgaria during October and November, with an anticipated total number of more than 800 students from 100+ schools across the country. The initiative is made possible by the help and support of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation and local municipalities.
