Who can request claim information?
Details about existing claims can be shared only with:
- The insured person;
- The policyholder (insuring person);
- A third party beneficiary;
- Insurance intermediaries (agents or brokers) for policies administered by them.
The steps
- Call our national customer service number at 0800 11 111.
- Inform our representative that you need an update on an existing claim.
- Be ready for brief identity verification.
To protect your personal data, our representative will ask you for specific details.
Depending on whether you are an individual or a legal entity, you may need to provide:
- Full name;
- Personal ID number or UIC (Unified Identification Code);
- The address on your ID card or a registered business address;
- Policy number or claim number;
- Identification data of the insured property (for instance, vehicle registration number).
Providing this data is voluntary and it will only be used to verify your identity and confirm your right to access claim information.
How long does this take?
Identity verification typically takes just 1 – 2 minutes..
Once verified, you will receive up-to-date information about your claim. If you require additional details or expert assistance, our representative will transfer you to an employee in charge of your claim or will arrange a prompt callback.

No information can be provided over the phone regarding:
- Claims for non-pecuniary damages;
- Special categories of personal data (including health data and other sensitive information) in the claim file;
- Insurance indemnity amounts offered, approved or paid;
- Any details whose disclosure over the telephone is prohibited by law or the internal rules of BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP.
This information may be obtained:
- In writing: sent to the mailing address specified in your claim file;
- In person: by an authorized person presenting a valid identity document;
- Via a representative: by a lawyer or authorized person presenting a notarized power of attorney.
