The basic clause of this insurance takes care of Medical Expenses. It covers medical, surgical, pharmacy and hospital expenses incurred under medical prescription, which have arisen in relation to emergencies and are related to the occurrence of the risks of accident and sudden illness.

The limits of the insurance policy are selected individually and depend on travel destination and duration. Most often, the insurance is concluded for limits between EUR 10,000 and EUR 30,000.

Additional coverage can be obtained with this insurance, under the following clauses:

• Legal assistance
• General third-party liability
• Cancellation, interruption of extension of the voyage
• Delay, damage, loss or theft of luggage or documents
• Family
• Search and rescue expenses
• Additional assistance services
• Accident abroad

The insurance is designed for Bulgarian citizens and foreigners with permanent or long-term residence on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, who are not older than 75 years at the time of the insurance conclusion. Persons over that age may be insured, after payment of an additional premium determined by the Insurer.

The insurance needs to be concluded before the first date of travel. 

In case you have selected the clause “Cancellation, interruption of extension of the voyage,” it may be included in the insurance contract not later than 5 (five) working days after the day of the respective full or partial payment of the tourist trip contract, purchase of a flight ticket or another transport ticket, or the payment of hotel stay, as long as there are no less than 48 (forty-eight) hours left until the first day of the journey. The due premium amount should be paid before this final payment day.

Yes. The insured persons can be named individually in the policy or in an attached list, if their number is bigger.

Discounts are offered on conclusion of a group insurance, depending on the number of insured persons.

The basic cover of this insurance is for death or permanent disablement due to an accident.

In consideration of additional premium paid by the insured/insuring person, the INSURER will provide compensation to the insured for the following extended covers:

Medical expenses, rescue and repatriation costs

• Theft and damage to personal luggage and money
• Cancellation of the journey or a shorter period of the stay
• Delayed arrival
• Legal expenses
• Third-party liability for damage caused to other parties
• Motor assistance when travelling by car
• Mountain accident assistance

The insurance is provided for persons of up to 74 years of age.

The insurance needs to be concluded before the first date of the journey.
