One more recognition for BULSTRAD‘s initiative Little Giants

On 30 October, at Triaditsa sports hall, during the Sofia zone games which are part of the mini-volleyball league for school children, BULSTRAD received a certificate of appreciation from the Mayor of Sofia Municipality Vasil Terziev for the socially-focused project Little Giants and its contribution towards the development of school sports and the popularity of volleyball.

The certificate was presented to Tsanko Krastev, Director Marketing and PR at BULSTRAD, by Blagorodna Zdravkova, Deputy Mayor for Culture, Education, Sports and Youth Activities at Sofia Municipality.

The Little Giants mini-volleyball league for the cup of Bulstrad is an annually-held initiative of ZEAD BULSTRAD VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP that began in 2018, created for young volleyball enthusiasts, with mixed teams of girls and boys in fifth and sixth grade.
The project, which has already established itself among the significant social commitments of the company, will take place in eight Bulgarian cities: Blagoevgrad, Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Burgas, Varna, Ruse, and Veliko Tarnovo.

The games are organized with the support of Bulstrad, the regional departments of education under the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as the local municipalities in the eight hosting regions.
The professional conduct of the games is entrusted to licensed referees from the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation.

The organizers traditionally prepare plenty of gifts and fun surprises for all participants, turning the event into a real sports celebration for the school children.
